この子のモデルは、私と生活を共にする愛猫です。
実は、私が近所の助けを必要とする猫の保護活動を始める大きなきっかけをくれたのが、この子との出会いでした。
今から12年前、まだ会社員だった頃の私は、深夜0時を過ぎて帰宅するのが当たり前のような、ワーカホリックな日々を送っていました。
今はそんな働き方は許されていないと思いますが、当時はまだまだ普通に存在していたように思いますし、それはそれでその時代の思い出です。
そんなある夜、自宅に帰る途中のスーパーの前にちょこんと小さく座っていた一匹の猫。
それが、私たちの出会いでした。
私の人生にたくさんの幸せと「小さな物語」を運んできてくれる大切な家族であり、このブランドのインスピレーションの源でもあります。

The cat featured in the Little Tale Box stamp is modeled after my own beloved cat. In fact, meeting this cat was the very reason I began my journey into community cat protection and rescue efforts.
Twelve years ago, back when I was still working in the corporate world, I lived a workaholic lifestyle, often returning home well after midnight. One such night, I saw a cat sitting quietly in front of a supermarket, waiting—as if for someone—to bring some food. That was the moment our paths crossed.
Since then, this cat has become a precious family member who has brought countless "little tales" into my life, serving as the heart of my inspiration for this brand.
Please note: While the illustration shows a cat peering into a cabinet and playfully interacting with ornaments and ribbons, the reality of my studio is different. The atelier where I create my work is completely separate from the living quarters of my cat. My cat never comes into direct contact with any products or materials. I invite you to enjoy this 19th-century-inspired world with total peace of mind.
